At Windy Hill Foundation, we are proud to highlight our growing partnership with Northwest Federal Credit Union (NWFCU), which has been a valuable community partner for over a year. We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Diego Hernandez, Branch Manager, and Danielle Crouch, Member Service Lead, from NWFCU’s Middleburg location to learn more about their commitment to our community.
Branch Manager Diego Hernandez and Member Service Lead Danielle Crouch have worked closely with Windy Hill’s Resident Services team to offer essential financial education to the community. “We first heard about Windy Hill Foundation from the Middleburg Business and Professional Association, where we met the Executive Director, Eloise Repeczky.” says Crouch and Hernandez, “Since then, we have partnered with Windy Hill to provide financial education and support to the residents. We have hosted seminars on topics like budgeting, credit, fraud, scams, and mortgages. We also recently celebrated our partnership by throwing a pizza party at Levis Hill House.”

For NWFCU, collaborating with local organizations like Windy Hill aligns with their mission to transform the lives of the people in our community. “Here at NWFCU, people are our focus, and together, we serve and inspire to transform lives. We pride ourselves in supporting local organizations and getting involved in the communities in which we serve because we truly care about people. Our goal is to create quality relationships and provide valuable financial solutions so that our members can live their best lives.”. To learn more about NWFCU, visit: Northwest Federal Credit Union
At Windy Hill, we value our partnership with NWFCU as it allows residents to have local financial resources, and direct access to representatives, like Danielle and Diego, who can answer questions and offer financial advice. “Our highlights partnering with Windy Hill have been getting to know the residents. We love it when we see regulars and new faces at our seminars, and it has been wonderful to build new relationships with members of the local communities.”

Danielle and Diego highlight the wide-spread and long-lasting impact Windy Hill makes by giving residents the basic resources they need to succeed, “We’ve seen how Windy Hill helps families and the elderly by providing affordable housing in an expensive area, and how the Foundation engages with its residents by offering seminars and luncheons. We are proud to support a locally oriented, impactful organization and witness the impact it makes.”
Thank you to Diego Hernandez, Danielle Crouch and Northwest Federal Credit Union (NWFCU) for being valuable members of the Windy Hill family. Partnering with local organizations like NWFCU plays a vital role in Windy Hill Foundation’s ability to fulfill our mission of providing safe, decent, and affordable housing to low- and lower- income families and the elderly in Loudoun and Fauquier Counties and encourages self-improvement and self-sufficiency among our residents.
