Why Volunteer with Windy Hill?
I chose Windy Hill because it coincides with many of my core values about community and connection. Community is key to transformation and connection. I hope to be a part of creating that same vibe here in Middleburg and sensed Windy Hill has that same vision.
We have sponsored various fundraising events and were impressed with the beautiful way that Windy Hill creates community, which enfolds into the Middleburg community. It’s seamless. It’s what I love about this town!
In what capacity have you donated your time to Windy Hill?
I started volunteering for Windy Hill this summer, I’ve helped with vegetable distribution and Bingo with the seniors at Levis Hill House. I have also offered life coaching services to the Windy Hill community; I look forward to future opportunities to share with more of the residents to help them realize their dreams!
What have been the highlights of volunteering with Windy Hill?
After hearing that a Windy Hill resident had requested life coaching, I was more than happy to give a presentation about the Enneagram, a fascinating assessment tool that describes nine personality types with astonishing clarity. The folks at Levis House were very interested and engaged! I love speaking to groups and helping individuals be who they were meant to be and do what they were meant to do!
