Why volunteer with Windy Hill?

I chose to support Windy Hill Foundation because I thought it was a great local non-profit organization to be a part of. My parents were very active in our community growing up, and I think it’s important to give back to the community and to set an example for my kids by doing so.

In what capacity have you donated your time to Windy Hill?

I have been volunteering with Windy Hill for a year and half. During the school year, I volunteer at the Seasons After School Program on Wednesday afternoons. I also help organize and deliver boxes of fresh veggies donated by Bainum Farms, and call Bingo with the seniors at Levis Hill House!

What have been the highlights of volunteering with Windy Hill?

I loved the after-school program where some of the kids taught me and my kids how to play an interactive dance game. We all had some good laughs. Calling Bingo is really fun too. The Levis group gets competitive. Flonnie won three times last Bingo and while disappointing for the rest of the group, I loved seeing her big smile!
