Windy Hill Foundation provides 20% of housing in the town of The Plains.

Piedmont Lane

As Windy Hill Foundation’s first project outside of Middleburg, this development was made possible through the generous support of local donors, as well as tax credit financing.

  • Piedmont Lane consists of five buildings, with 12 units on Fauquier Avenue and 4 units on Lee Street.
  • Piedmont Lane offers 7 two-bedroom units and 9 three-bedroom units of workforce housing.
  • Piedmont offers ADA accessible units.
  • Every building is green-certified by EarthCraft Virginia.

The Rectory

The Rectory is a duplex consisting of two 2-bedroom units, one on the lower level and one on the upper level.

  • Originally a single-family home, the Rectory was converted into a multi-family dwelling.
  • Floor plans feature an open lay out with modern fixtures & finishes, private patios and entries.
  • The Rectory is surrounded by towering oak trees on a private lane.

Forrest Lane

The single-family home offers walkability to Main Street, located on a quiet lane surrounded by nature in the convenience of the Plains.

  • Spacious 2-bedroom floorplan.
  • The home features in unit washer/dryer.
  • Located on a private lane surrounded by pristine landscaping.
